Donkey Hodey

As a kid, I heard a conversation about Don Quixote and misunderstood a great deal of the story. First I assumed it was about a little Spanish donkey called Hodey. I wonder how many other misconceptions and misunderstandings and misinterpretations I lug around? There have been a few pilgrims on the camino accompanied by little donkeys and part of me longs to be one of them.
